Tíz év alatt négyszeres fejlődés után a műhold tömege 20 kg-ra csökkent az eredeti generáció 400 kg-járól.

Az optikai feldolgozó terület teljes területe 10000m2. Ez a terület képes nagy pontosságú optikai alkatrészek tömeggyártására, illetve üvegkerámiából, szilícium-karbidból stb. készült optikai alkatrészek durváról finomra történő feldolgozására, valamint ennek megfelelő detektálásra.
